I have to keep this blog for school, so hello cruel world, here I am. Who am I even writing to?? I don’t even know. Hello God -- It’s Me, Ashley.
I guess I’ll talk about what’s miserable in my life. I’m a liar. And I mean, who doesn’t lie to their parents now and then, anyway? The problem is of course, that now my parents know I’m a liar -- I moved out of the sorority house and in with my boyfriend Harrison.
It was fun. It was bliss, taking that next step. And three days later, it was over because my parents decided to give me a surprise visit for Memorial Day Weekend all the way from Georgia. The worst part of it is, one of my sisters had already moved into my old room -- which is spacious and beautiful and I think I might have to kill her in her sleep so I can have it back. I’ve moved from luxury to the set of the Flowers in the Attic remake!
Hah. Just kidding. Are those shower curtains around the beds?! A child-sized set of table and chairs by the window?? Am I rooming with a pygmy?? Why is the room unfinished? And I’ve got news for you, Nationals -- if you send us another fan to cool things down in here, I’m going to march it right back and shove it up someone’s mommy-daddy button, I’ll tell you that.
But there’s an important lesson to be learned -- well, I actually learned it a while ago, but I plan on implementing it here: if you don’t like something or want to do something, simply screw it up so badly, no one will put you in that awful position again.
My parting shot? It comes in an egg or water balloon. So how about it -- come on over!
